Trying to get a working copy of IE7 for 7

I have been met with nothing but "this version is not supported". Anyone give me a hand? The new version of IE8 does not support some ActiveX controllers we are using.

    Hi BigRod,

It sounds like the developer of the ActiveX control needs to rewrite his versioning checks, I bet its just a few lines of code the developer used to a return an expected value that with IE8 is retuning a new value instead of an expected value

If you have access to the source code then it wont be a problem to debug and fix

Microsoft released IE8-RC1 yesterday, might be worth giving it a try?
