    Network Adpater/Router Suggestions.

Hello, im looking for a new wireless network adapter and possibly a router for Window 7 64-bit. It has to travel about 25-30 feet and connect through about three walls. Currently im using a BT-HomeHub2 router and a Belkin F5D7050 wireless adapter, but im having a lot of trouble connecting. When i move my pc next to the router it connects with no problem so im guessing its just the range on these products. My X-Box 360 sits next to my PC and connects to the internet with no problem. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

One problem I see is that your BT-Homehub 2 has wireless N support but your Belkin F5D7050 wireless adapter only supports wireless G and not wireless N. So you might want to upgrade your wireless adaptor to one that supports wireless N which should greatly improve your wireless connectivity. :)

I too use a BT HomeHub as my primary router, and do know the woes of its poor range (especially when connecting using G like you are).

I would suggest getting an 'N' Networking card.

'N' WiFi has better range than 'G' WiFi.

Your BT HomeHub is already an N router so there's no need to change router (unless the problem persists).

You can get 'N' WiFi adapters (both internal and external) from about £15 off Amazon.

Before you go and splash out though I would suggest that you try moving your network card higher up or closer to the door using a USB extender cable (if you have one) or try using the Xbox 360's WiFi adapter on your PC and then get your internet connection on your Xbox from your PC via an Ethernet cable.

You know what they say "Great minds think alike" although what is less often said is "so do half wits" .
