    Unable To Delete Network Shortcuts!

    Hello all:
I have some shortcuts to specific folders on my desktop that I can access from my laptop. I need to delete a few, but for some reason I am unable to. The delete button doesn't work, and there is no 'delete' in the right-click context menu. I've tried deleting the shortcuts from both machines (desktop and laptop).

Anyone have any suggestions? Any help is very much appreciated!

I'm sorry, I don't understand as far as running administrator. I'm already logged in as administrator. I'll try safe mode when I next restart, but I don't think running in safe mode is the answer. Just a feeling.
