DNS Server not found (Anak)
Hi Everyone,
I have been trying to hardwire network my old XP Pro SP3, and my new win7 systems. I am on the win7 system now.
Hardware consists of:
Network Everywhere NR041 Cable/DSL Router, and
Westell 6100-15 DSL Router
The usual Cat-5 Cables
I can get both PC's to see each other, and have shared Folders, but when they are both hooked up to the NR041 I can't get on to the Internet "DNS Server not found".
I have studied zzz2496's tutorial, this tutorial, post #10 XP Computers in the Windows 7 Network Map, and been reading some of the posts here, and elsewhere.
Right now I am starting to get a skull-pain trying to figure this out..
Some readings I have taken:

It isn't listed here, but in Device Mgr. the Intel(R) 82578DC Gigabit Network Connection does have the correct MAC address.
I would have to double check, but there may be a software upgrade to the NR041.
I haven't tried the OpenDNS yet, but it runs fine on the XP machine. Nor have I tried the flush.bat on either PC.
I have to go out for a while so I won't be able to reply right away.
Thanks for any thought's
