    Limit Sync Speed at TG784

    Hi,

    I need some help.

I have a Thomson TG784 but my DSL line is not very stable. My provider give me all the velocity to my line but my router can't synchronize the total speed of provider.

Eg. Provider give me 4MB but i only can sync 2.4/2.5 MB in Downstream...

This cause some instability on my line and sometimes i lost the connection.

There are some way to manually configure the sync speed that i want?

Eg. Manually put the line at 2048 Kbps in downstream...

    Someone can help me?

    Thanks.

Are you sure provider gives you the full amount? How do you know? I would go to an online test like speedtest.net to confirm what you are actually getting.

The DL speed is set by the providers hardware, you simply get what they give you. You can throttle your DL, but why would you want to?

    Hi,

    Yes i am sure.

    I have a plan: 4096Kbps Down and 1024Kbps Up.

My line is a little bit distant from the central and i can't connect at all speed.

I want to manually block que sync speed to increase stability on my DSL access.

    See this:

    Is very explicit.

    Thanks.
