Bridging connection not working

Hi, im trying to bridge my connection from my wireless card to my LAN Ethernet port to my PS3, but everytime I try to connect, the Network bridge is ALWAYS at Identifying... It never changes from that no matter what I do.

Im using Windows 7 64 Bit
Belkin Wireless G PCI card
Maximus Formula Motherboard.

Even if it says it is identifying, can you get internet?

Have you deleted the bridge, then tried again?
After deleting the bridge, diagnose each one. Then recreate the bridge, and diagnose all three. Does that help?

Thanks for the reply.

No, I cant access the internet when the bridge says Identifying. I did what you said and it said there was no troubleshooting errors found (or something along the lines of that) for the wireless and LAN port, but when I do a diagnosis for all 3, it never gives me any advice, it stays at verifying or something like that.

The only reason I want to do this is because my PS3 keeps dropping signal to this crappy sky router I have.

Do you mean a cross over cable OR an ethernet or a cross over ethernet? Because on the cable, theres a tag that says ethernet. (Sorry not good on cables)

There are 2 types of ethernet cable (the LAN cable, the one you use to connect PC to PS3). The first type is "straight", it is used for PC (or any ethernet network capable device) to an ethernet switch. The second one will be "cross" type, this is for connecting a device to another device. Since you're connecting your PC diretly to your PS3, I suppose you need the "cross" cable...

Network Bridging
I am unable to create a true network bridge. I believe the problem is that whenever I plug an ethernet cable into my computer, my wireless shuts off. I was wondering how it would be possible to have both cable and wireless internet at the same time, in order for the bridge to be successful.
