identical directories in Homegroup

When setting up my notebook, I activated several directories on my desktop for file
sharing through Homegroup. Whenever I deactivate one of these directories from my
desktop, it remains present, though inaccessible on my notebook. If I reactivate
the same directory, I wind up with more than one version of the directory on my
notebook. How do I eliminate the clones?

To get rid of those clones you need to "unshare" the file again for each extra copy you made. This need to be done from the machine where the file resides. After refreshing the page you will notice the extra copies disappear. I've made that mistake a few times now.

Two identical computers
Well, this is embarrassing, but I bought two identical HP computers running W7 but I didn't write the COA of each computer in the correct disk jacket so I would know which recovery disk goes to which computer. So my question is, is there a way to find out which disk goes to which computer. The...

Identical Monitors, not identical colors
I received my 2 Samsung BX2431 LED monitors today, hooked them up, installed drivers. And now after wasting an hour on finding out that I had to do scaling on my card in the AMD Vision control center to get rid of the black bands, I still am left with the problem that one monitor is whiter than...

Shift+Del somehow became identical to ctrl+v?
Hi. In the last couple of weeks, I've noticed that using shift+del in text input areas, such as Notepad, OOo Writer, browser text fields, etc - pretty much anywhere I can input text - shift+del is acting identically to ctrl+v. I don't know why this is occurring and I want to make it stop. I have...

HomeGroup Directories don't REFRESH in Explorer x64
I don't think my HomeGroup directories (shared with homegroup pc's) even when no homegroup pc's are logged in, get refreshed properly in Explorer(x64). When I delete a file in a homegroup directory it does actually delete but the screen doesn't refresh to display that the file is gone. Other...
