    Need help with Homegroup

I have not seen this particular problem in a thread. I have three computers connected to a Homegroup network. All have Windows 7. Two are on Home Edition and one is using Professional. There is one laptop connected wirelessly, one tower connected wirelessly and one desktop wired. The wired computer can connect to the other two, the other two can connect to each other, but they can not even detect that the wired one is on the network. I have no firewall running, but I do have Spyware Doctor. I do not see any setting on it that that would prevent computers from even seeing this computer. I have looked through my process tree and see nothing that even resembles a firewall.

    Thanks for the help!

Most likely which ever real time A/V you have installed is causing this problem. You usually need to uninstall your A/V or reconfigure it to work with Homegroups.

You can go though this Homegroup check list that should help with any other problems problems with Homegroups that you might be having.
