    Cannot share printer...

Hello, I have a wireless Dell desktop running Windows 7 ultimate and a Laptop running Windows deluxe 64 bit op system. I have an hp 4100 off the dell parallel port. I just installed a Belkin Surf wireless router but have the laptop next to it connected ethernet. I have enabled all sharing between these 2 computers and can access the dell from the laptop fine but not the other way, even though network discovery shows the Dell in laptop network devices.
My goal is to share that HP4100 off the dell with the laptop in the living room that is connected to the wireless router via ethernet cable.

I have looked at most everything i can think of: firewall settings, router firewall, etc etc but to no avail.

One interesting thing is that the laptop windows 7 64 bit home deluxe version has a provision to setup a "homegroup" but the Dell windows 32 bit ultimate does not.

I have both just setup as a workgroup now.

Thanks in advance for any help here, Bob

Did you run the add printer wizard from the laptop Device and Printers page?

Yeah I ran the add printer from the laptop but it would not find it. Thanks for the link though. Iys weird cause I can ping machine from machine and remote desktop from laptop to dell, etc.
    The search goes on.

Bob. Did you run the add a network printer or local printer. The network printer wizard has the option to find the printer yourself using browse. If you can see your network pc's you should be able to find the printer if not then you need to go to advance share options and make sure you have allowed print sharing to everyone on network. Good luck to you!
