    can you recommend a wireless pci card


    hi there

    im moving my pc from downstairs near the router to my bedroom which is literally just above where the pc is at the moment

    about my router its the sagem f@st 2504 sky firmware installed

    hope someone can help me out

    i was looking at these two D-link and Netgear

    or is this netgear rangemax any good

    Any particular reason you want to use up a PCI slot in your PC when a USB wireless G dongle can do the same thing and not take up a slot? A dongle generally comes with a base that it fits into and allows about 6' or cable to find the best coverage with the PCI card it's not that flexible.

    the netgear rangemax is a usb dongle - and im opting fot that as once i have enough money ill build a new pc and i will need the pci slots

    but could you tell me is the netgear rangemax any good?

    Have not used many Netgear products but those I have installed have worked very well.
