    Wi-Fi Disconnecting Frequently.

    Hey all;
    Shortly after a failed Win7 upgrade, I installed the manufacturers drivers for my wireless card since I was in a BSOD boot loop, and that fixed the problem.
    But with these drivers, I keep randomly getting disconnected from the internet - particularly when streaming video.
    I don't think it's due to automatically connecting to other networks because the signal strength of those other networks is always lower, and it happens more often when I'm on Youtube or other video-streaming sites.
    I have an Acer Aspire 5532 laptop running Win7 Home Premium, my wireless card is an Acer Aspire AR5B93 Wireless Network Adapter.
    Thanks in advance!

    I have a similar issue. Try resetting the router or changing the wifi channel.

    Have you checked your internet configuration in your router/modem etc. properly. Does it work fine if you connect with a LAN. It sounds like an intermittent connection problem. It is probably due to your internet connection problem rather than your wireless card. Please check by connecting through a LAN and then check if it disconnects. If it was problem with the wireless car driver then you should not have got connected at all IMO.

    If it is a DSL line also check the phone line for any noise as that might mean problem with your line.

    Hmm I see, thanks for the advice! I'll have a look at my router and see what I can do .

    Also check the line splitter if you use one. And check your phone for noise if it is a DSL connection.
