I just don't even bother looking into these things at all at home. Between system restore and images that I have made...backing out an update that causes an issue is a piece of cake. I just don't see myself staying on previous versions of software or versions before updates that are available. If I do run into a snag, I'll either change my other software or try to come up with a work around.
