Um, I did just say I used the newest, most expensive version and it was worst than before right?

    EDIT: yep, sure did.

You can also find at least a dozen threads on here about how McAfee has ruined peoples computers. Not to mention the millions of XP computers that were taken out by McAfee a few months ago. Even hospitals use Windows XP and many using McAfee were left unable to do hardly anything. They couldn't make insurance claims, couldn't find certain information about patients, and couldn't admit new patients. McAfee has screwed up my computer, my dads computer, and recently we got a new laptop with McAfee preinstalled. That firewall you love so much, took out our entire network. Anyone who knows anything about AVs knows not to use McAfee. It's not a matter of paying for it, as this last to around we had there best consumer version free for 15 months, but I'd rather be able to use the internet.
I honestly feel sorry for anyone using McAfee, and feel even more sorry for those that think they might actually be using a good product.

And they claim Norton has changed to and is much better. I guess I have to ask why return to a product that was once bad, when there are other products like MSE which have been pretty much solid from the get-go.

Apparently the VB100 tests were done using Vista SP2 Business edition.

Any speculation why they weren't done using some version of Win 7?

The latest Norton products are much better, and I used to be a huge Norton supporter. I once said on a forum I'd marry Norton Ghost if it were a woman. However, even after testing them, and finding that they were much improved, I still feel like I can do better, with other alternatives. In a field with many choices, if one burns you, you have so many other options.

Part of it is because I get sick of saying some stuff over and over again and people just not listening. I clearly stated the McAfee was bad product, I stated why I thought so, and that most people agree. And what I hear back is "I still think they're good." Its like if I said "Don't drink cyanide because you will die very quickly" and you said "Oh, well, I think I'll drink it anyways.

The other part of it is, I have my own reasons for being mad at the world in general right now. Some people on here already know what that reason is and I don't really feel like talking about it here.
