It's going to take a major overhaul to get McAffe back to a working security company. Even longer to gain peoples trust back.

Either Intel will make it a better product, or their reputation will be shot.

Based on my experiences with McFail, it couldn't get any worse (well, lets hope not)

Interesting thought though...Intel already has embedded instruction sets for some software/games/etc., so down the road they may have them for McAfee. More people may lean towards that AV if that's the case & they manage to clean it up.

Man. she also made one of my Intel CPU's overheat and my hard-drive. I don't know what Intel is planning for this Triple Threat..... but I am sure they have something on the table. Cameron better call Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore.

In order to be fair, I have to say that the McAfee site advisor and their scanner are pretty good - in contrast to their AV suite.

Here's to the end of the McAfee we all know and love to hate. I would be certainly interested if Intel rewrites McAfee and improves its effectiveness.
