Is this guy so wrapped up in his little virtualization world, that he doesn't realize not only that computers are not by any means exclusive to IT-as-a-Service people, but also that most everyday users have never even heard of virtualization? VMware doesn't compete with or replace Windows, why is he even bothering? Does he really believe that the non-IT world is destined to run on virtualized hardware? Not to mention, what good is VMware without Windows or Linux installed ON it?
