It hits 60fps on the fishtank test, on both IE9 and FFb6, however FF stutters at times, it doesn't effect the frame rate, which stays at 60, but there's a little stutter every second or so. IE9 doesn't do it (doubt it really matters, both beta's) but it certainly does seem more fluid on lots of websites. It seems awesome so far, I just really wish I knew what was wrong with my gadget!

However, one gripe... Whatever updates installed seem to have stopped my CPU meter gadget working.
My only problem as well, this is what my "All Cpu Meter 3.2" Gadget looks like:

Interesting there's no d/l for XP. So much for testing it on my virtual pc. And I'm not going to test in on any work machines. Argh.

Works fine for me. As a few others above have pointed out, it def replaces IE8.

I'll play with it but I'm a pretty much die-hard FF fan now running 4.0b7pre.

IE9 is much faster in rendering motion as the FishIE, on my weak system, shows 30+ FPS at 100 fish on IE9 and only 17 or so on FF.

(Posted with IE9) No issues so far - all gadgets are working fine. Classic Shell still good to go. FF plays nice with it as I have both running right now (and fish swimming in each :)).

That's because Microsoft will not be releasing it for XP as the hardware acceleration is not supported by XP

Yeah, hence the reason that IE9 is only supported on Vista SP2 and higher.

I found that it downloaded when I clicked the 'other versions' link and selected my version that way from the beta website
