Yes, they use the same policy as on BizSpark accounts. There you get 2 keys for almost every products, with some exceptions.
But the change is still not active, still only the desktop products.

It really is too bad TechNet 'scripts have fallen victims of the "bad guys". I suspect this is the result of the success of Windows 7, or not. I'll be curious to see what is available, if anything, from TechNet next June when my 'script is up for renewal.

Heh we'll see how many activates we really get. One of my machines died and I had to transfer the HD to another machine on sunday and W7 is asking for asking for activation again. Strangely the activation servers were not responding due to "security issues" or something to that effect...

I activated 9 computers yesterday with the same Win7 HP key and Office 2010 Standard key. No problems at all.
And they have not mention the number of activations per key on any place, so I'm pretty sure that it's still 10 activations per key.

Mike Kinsman at Microsoft also write that each key has a minimum of 10 activations here: Technet Standard Keys

Unfortunately nothing with keys is ever simple Harry The product in question, the type of key you've used, the number of times you've used it on the same machine, and the number of times used on different machines are all factors. Its long been the standard that the number of activations on different machines is 10 per key, but there are many exceptions to this, and it could be that a few of your activations were done on the same hardware. Clear as mud? Sorry about that.
I'll take one of my Win7 Ultimate keys I have for TechNet and see if I can get some hard numbers for you.
Thanks,
Mike

And snapshot on VmWare if you test much with virtual computers. Setup, activate, take snapshot, start testing. After the test, reset the VM and you have not used up a new activation.
This is the only way I have used so few keys on so many test I do on my servers.
On the other side, I have used up activations only to test a small thing...and then reset or deleted the VM right after the test..
