    Intel Core2Duo E6750 @ 2.6 GHz
    4 GB RAM
    Software:
    Windows 7
    Internet Explorer 9 Beta

    So here you have it, with the exception of few tests, Internet Explorer 9 (64 bit) pretty much destroys its 32 bit brother.

    am I missing something..you cant select 64bit IE as default browser nor can you pin internet shortcuts to the jump list?

    That doesn't mean you can't use it. It may be lacking all of that stuff, but I'm still willing to use it for its better performance.

    Hi there
    when you DOWNLOADED it you had the option to chose either the 32 or 64 bit versions.

    If you are on W7 X-64 uninstall one version and install the other for testing.

    I don't think you can have both IE9 x86 and x64 on the same system (could be wrong on that but I don't think it's possible).

    You can have both on the same system. If you chose 64-bit version to download, itl also install the 32-bit version.

    That and the 32 bit installer won't work on 64 bit 7,
