If it's better than google I'll use it. I'm a follower of the best. I used to love AMD, but Intel's Core 2 Duo's are bad a... I will continue to use Intel til AMD has better CPU's.

Perhaps they have licensed Bing Crosby to be the "mascot" or figurehead.

Each visit to Bing brings a random clip of Crosby singing.

If you type contoso.com into your browser it redirects to microsoft.com. Furthermore if you look at this: http://ieblog.members.winisp.net/images/frank_searchprotection_1.png youl see it looks like its intended to be a search site. So makes me believe that MS have plans for a new search engine....
