when I played a military game Called America's Army which was created by the US Army my team and I would use yahoo and email to plain and execute battle plans for the game matches we played. With this type of monitoring my friends and I could be flagged as terrorists or I see it that way.

who draws the line on who and what is monitored? Personally I see the internet this way if you put it out there then anyone who truly wants to read it will no matter if there is a warrant or not. The internet is kind of like a new country trying to find its rules and laws and since the tech is outpacing the speed at which we can keep everyone safe to me the safest and most secure way I can see is that we need a world organization to create the rules for the world wide web instead of this country does it one way and all other fend for themselves.

A a world organization, you got to be kidding. Kind of like the U.N. for the internet which just pounds it's chest, misuses large some of money. Guides the World Bank to move around trillions of dollars that nobody but a few have any idea what is going on. It's this countries duty to protect our borders which should also include our internet borders.

Most of us are getting new warnings on various news media about planed attacks. Some governments have gathered enough information about these plans. I would think some of this terrorist planing information was gathered by monitoring there phone, internet, and other means of communications. I here these new warnings about every 30 minutes on the radio today.
And that's the way it will be from now on. Controlling the populace through fear...welcome to the USA.

That's the way it's always been, everywhere, except that for now in the USA they just use the media instead of more direct methods.. it's when they start publicly announcing other methods of making people afraid that people should start being scared..

If they would hide that kind of information they would be accused of not keeping the people informed. The people have the right to know would be all over the news. I like being informed and I will decide weather it scares me or not.

you missed the point of that last statement but this is the wrong forum to clarify, and sevenforums.com as an entity does not advocate free speech
