Euck, dont like it at all. just made me rip my hair out.
Hate the fact its got no nickname, have to change your name on hotmail, and it displays that name.Rubbish.
and it don't play friendly with my Fraps..

I did the download the other day but did the Custom as I didn't need to add the Family Safety thing, there's only me using this machine. I did install Messenger for the first time though, I've not bothered with that app before so thought I'd give it a go. I already use Facebook and have a Twitter account, mind you I don't use them that much but they're there when I want them.
I was already using WLM Beta and installed over the top without problems, I expect the same will have happened with Photo Gallery and Movie Maker, I've not opened them yet.
So far I'm happy and have not found any problems.

hrmm well i removed it and added it back and now it works, weird
also just noticed when you remove last name to the blank narrow character and go to add a friend it says you must enter lastname before continuing and the blank narrow character doesn't paste in the box
you can change your lastname to appear to yourself only anyway

would be good if your chatting to someone via facebook from msn and that the convo would close from facebook the same time as you closed it from msn, annoying closing it separately

I've found a bug in the new messenger:
Ildy appears to be offline. Messages you send will be delivered when they sign in.
