Windows 7 Family Pack Returns Today

The Windows 7 Family pack has returned for the Christmas holidays and as always offers excellent value for money with three licences for Windows 7 Home Premium for $149.99.

It is available to buy in the US today from the Microsoft Store and will be available everywhere else from October 22nd.

In India, it was never ever heard of. ( I ended up buying one retail pack of Windows 7 Ultimate and two of Windows 7 Home Premium. )

Only Microsoft can answer that question. That said, it is good to see Microsoft selling the Home and Student Edition of Office 2010 only as a family pack here for Rs.4000/=( approx. USD 90). It can be installed on three home PCs.

I buy windows the way some people buy beer.. in a 30 pack .. not all versions are always available, sometimes there's a wait but it usually ends up being less than $150 a copy
