world's first hard-drive - 5,000,000 characters, and probably quite expensive.

I'll be the first on my block with one!

great news for large capacity lovers im just thinking of getting a WD caviar green 1TB(the same as i have now) because the price is good at £42:) so 3x of these 1TB for under £160 i would go for the latter:)

I just deleted an e-mail from Microcenter pushing this hard drive. When WD pushes out a Caviar Black, I "might" consider one.

Though I currently have a 1TB, a 750, and 500gig drive installed in my system, neither one of them is at 50 percent capacity :)

It will not be long until we see the return of the Quantum Bigfoot.

Can anyone say 20-30 TB drive?

I still can't believe how ridiculously expensive SSDs are.... I want to convert over when I build my server... but I'm not sure what the prices on them will be at that point, as I will want a total of 6TB hard drive space by then... (I'll be using it for accessing my files on the go, so I don't have to store them all on my laptop or on a portable drive)
