From my POV Apple should not have the right to make the claims in the EULA regarding OSX and having it only on Apple products. They did not make over 50% of the OS as the base code is FreeBSD. I don't see a single difference between OSX and Redhat Distributions of Linux for which you're paying mostly for paid tech support.
The end user should be allowed to install and use OSX on a non-Apple machine understanding that Apple bears no responsibility nor obligation to support its deployment other than on their own machines.
