I'm sure a major factor is an upcoming increase in the capital gains tax rate from 15% to 20%.
5% more on $1.3 billion is a significant piece of change...

Given the amount he still holds, I wouldn't read too much into this. He may actually be telling the truth, regarding diversification of his investments.

Yeah...and I'm sure he'd like the insider-trading fine much, much less than the capital gains tax rate increase...
