BFK, no I have not done any time hacks. Its really no big deal, I just loaded it on a spare hard drive just to play around with it. If it expires, I can just wait until the public beta release or try the registry edit for another couple months.

Did you have a key when you installed it or did you leave it blank.

    Hello DA....:)

I've had that tick mark option on every build I've installed; or do you mean it shouldn't be "Automatic"?

@Lvcoyete, have you done any of the timer hacks. (don't go into detail here)

    Later Ted

    yes it should....

(well at least on mine since i had a certain someone do the installation for me on my server....)

it was a experiment to see if an average user can install 7 (would pertain to vista too)

and she just keep clicking next and putting some info here and there....

by the time i got back she had a post it with the homegroup password thinking that it might be important....:)

    i was shocked...lol

well other than that it still says 29 days....

Try to activate with phone Activation to see what happens.

Do you have a legitimate Key or did you use this one, FHTKB-9BVJ4-G37RP-W2J2R-V3B49

I think that is just the default key but you can still see if phone activation works and it is totally anonymous to do so, plus it would be nice to find out the result.
