    When they make a public release of the Beta, where would one go to download that??
    *If* Microsoft does a full public beta, which many people have said they were going to do, then we should be able to goto the Microsoft download site and obtain the beta there. If not, I'm sure there will be ways to obtain the beta through alternate channels

    The alternate channels are the way I received this Beta 1 Build 7000, I'm wondering if I'm going to lose the ability to use it in a few days though as its not been activated. When I right click on computer and choose properties, that windows says "automatic activation in 2 days.... I have a feeling I might be ass out in a couple days......LOL

    Hello Joe.

    He probably ticked "Automatically Activate Online" during install.

    it depends when you installed it...

    it all has to do with his RTC when he installed it...

    @BFK

    that shouldnt happen though as i have tested that and that didnt come up...

    Hello DA....:)

    I've had that tick mark option on every build I've installed; or do you mean it shouldn't be "Automatic"?

    @Lvcoyete, have you done any of the timer hacks. (don't go into detail here)
