maybe it's not as bad as people think!
and by accident i now am perfectly save against adobe
dunno how , but in my manage add-ons there now is a rule that blocks adobe flash player, flash player installer.
havent found a way to change that status, i can only see thats it has been accounted for as a untrusted extension
only down side is i cant watch videos on youtube anymore, further i dont need flash :P
but would like to know how to REALLY manage addons and change the status.
so if anyone knows??

Thanks very much for that info Mate. i use no script, and run ccleaner after every session, but still had the bin.clearspring & soapbox appearing in the settings manager

It's been about a year and a half since this thread talked about Adobe Flash Cookies (AKA: LSOs.) I found two free programs that are much easier to navigate than the Adobe Settings Manager.
Flash Cookie Cleaner - The Free Flash Cookie Cleaner
Download Flash Cookies Cleaner 1.2 Free - Removes every Flash Cookie from your system - Softpedia
The names are similar but they are two separate and distinct programs. Flash Cookie Cleaner is about 1.16MB while Flash Cookies Cleaner is slightly smaller at about 97KB. Hope this helps.

Indeed a marvelous piece of useful information.
I had a look at the Global Settings some time ago, but didn't bother to actually go through it and see what it's all about.
The fact is that between IE8/Google Chrome/Firefox/Safari I use, browsing in private sessions doesn't load the previously stored Flash settings, and with GC/FF having many extensions today for blocking flash ads, I am never worried about cookies. Once a week I would delete everything, sometimes even more than once a week if I keep visiting new websites and those I do not trust completely. However, cookies can be useful for some things, so if I feel a risk upon my privacy I simply enter a private browsing session.
