I don't think I ever knew anyone that used it. Perhaps the main reason they are ditching it is the economy. I would have thought they would try to compete in this market as well.

OneCare gone too? Not surprising. They may come back with something else, but that program wasn't all that good.

I use it and I like it, very much. I've used Money for about 7-8 years now. I have to sort out what this means. But, I'm not wild about using my banks online bill payment process.

And I don't know you. Hence, I didn't state that "no one" used it, merely that I don't know anyone that uses it.

I have used MS Money since the mid 90's. Currently have Plus and it works fine.

But it looks like I will have to change to Quicken because I got Plus via d/l and can't find the install file. Also I'm not sure if Plus is 7 compatible, and obviously if it is or isn't there will be no support.

I use it. I've got the 2004 version of the software and it came with a Dell computer that I bought at the time. i just use it to simply balance my checkbook. I don't use any advanced functionality with it.

Keeping all my account balances in check is what I do as well, but I also d/l statements for all my accounts to reconcile with.

    Hi all
I think MY money died a lot before then.

We still have interest rates of around 11% in Iceland currently - thank goodness I'm paid in Euros.

    Cheers

For those interested, Microsoft has made available "Sunset" versions of Microsoft Money Plus Deluxe and Microsoft Home & Business that will not require online activation. The software has limitations regarding online banking, bill pay, etc., but it's basic bookkeeping functionality is there. It will not expire. Check this link for details and to download:
