Slow Death for Windows Vista - Packaged Software End of Sales Reached

I'm not a stupid guy ....i tweaked it every which way ...still could not make it work smoothly ...
Why would you tweak it, when Vista was released most systems were underpowered with only 1GB and thats why Vista gained such a bad reputation, I've seen many users trying to apply 'XP tweaks' to Vista, damaging it then saying it was bad
The problems lies in the user, not in the OS itself
I ran vista for almost 3 years without any problems
You ...by the way ...one of the rare breed ...who is so easily to accept the "Broken product"
with your "hard earned money" ...
Just remember when XP was released it gained so much criticism, its not a reason to blame an OS when someones installs it on a low end machine

For me, the reason why people are saying Windows Vista sucks are following reasons:
- They didn't use Vista before - liers
- Using budget (low-end) hardware such as a 1.5 or 1.6GHz CPU or 256MB or 512MB RAM. They never follow the specifications saying.
Windows Vista was built differently from Windows XP.
Mac OS X 10.0-10.2 (Jaguar, Cheetah and Puma) have a lot of criticisms. Maybe more criticisms than Vista.

14 pages of comment on a non current OS ...Time to move on folks! There will always be lovers and haters of any OS including..Shock!..Horror! Windows Seven. The answer is ...live with it, move on......

XP was in a better state than vista on launch no doubt about it.
Vista got fixed by SP2 maybe even SP1, but by then it was too late.
I imagine Vista SP2 is not a bad OS, it has the things like aero and decent 64bit but also without the dumbing down of features that windows 7 had. Windows 7 gained because it performs much better on low spec machines and was in a better state at launch. Also the public beta test made it very popular.

Hopefully when SP3 comes out, there is a major improvement over SP1 and SP2.

SP2 is as stable as Win7, no doubt SP3 will be better

Sadly this is true. One of the biggest criticisms regarding Vista was how it was at launch, although personally I had little issue with it from day one. The same people who were like "ah Vista sucks, XP is so much better" were probably the same people going "ah XP sucks, 98SE is so much better" back in 2001.

I ran vista on my machine for quite a while and even made a new partition to put 7 on until such time as I was convinced that it was as good as vista if not better lol, I liked vista quite a bit and found that most people that didn't like it were actually clueless, ask them about why they didn't like it and back them into a corner pushing the issue and most people had no clue what was bad or good about vista they were just spouting off other peoples dislike lol
