True, but I feel it's the biggest change since Windows 3.1 to 95, though that change was a lot bigger than this one.

Haha, no I am just saying the 7 UI isn't much of a change (from Vista). A few new aero tricks, that's about it.
I can hear the fanboys now. "Don't update to Seven, Vista is the best OS ever. Rocketdock is better than the 7 task bar and this little (free) program will give you the snap to side feature. Save your money Vista is KING."![]()

Anyone caught saying that will *immediately* get a fanboy tag.
In terms of speed, usability, and configurability, W7 beats out Vista by a wide margin.
Whether it stays this way or not, remains to be seen.
You are a hard woman Joan
HEAR HEAR!!
When do I get my badge??
You are never going to please everyone. Not that I care. I know now, just how much stick I an going to get when I go out to get my new software and the new hardware that I will no doubt need to run it on
Pooch
I bought a PC from Best Buy with WinME installed & when I got it all set up I started adding bookmarks to IE & started getting errors right off the bat, after 2 weeks I had to reload the OS because of problems I was having. I feel even though Windows 7 isn't a finished product yet that it is nothing like any OS pre Win2K.
Oh yea BTW, I'm no Vista fanboy, never have been or will be.
Ok I have been using 7 for a little while now and have a few things to say.
1. If you did not like the look and feel of Vista your not going to like 7 (most likely) not really all that much has changed other than the task bar.
2. It uses less ram and is fast, but still not as fast opening files and stuff to Vista, but that can change on any release!
3. WAY WAY better than XP. 7 really shows how crappy XP is.
