See ya!!!!
If they get a good skinning/no-script add-on, then I'm there. FF is too bloated for me now as it is.

"I have nothing to hide"
Well, everything you do on the internet, everything you download, every site you visit, everything you read is noted, and saved. Nothing is lost on "the web". Your email is filtered for keywords by "Big Brother". You have nothing to hide indeed, but "they" have a file on you and one day it could "bite you on the a**".
Just saying!

I gotta go with wpurcell on this one. THE main reason i dont use Google/Chrome is the amount of data gathered.(other reasons too.... but the data gathering is the kicker) I too "have nothing to hide" BUT...... thats the way to a slow erosion of your rights. If you think you have "nothing" to hide , you could be right. For now. But what about tomorrow when they decide that internet usage means TOO much information in your hands? ( think China and other places) I'll stick with my (semi)safe surfing habits and my Opera. For now at least.

It is already that way. I turn 65 in a couple months and eligible for Medicare. Every website I got to has an ad for a Medicare Supplement Insurance. That is no coincidence.

There is another side to it. Because of the tracking and the related ads is the reason we get some many things on the internet for free.

Such as?

Trust me. People are not going to pay for access to a whole lot of web sites.
Regardless of the tracking they might do. I won't pay to access Amazon just cause they stop using tracking cookies. I can assure you, a million others won't either. They will lose a very very large majority of their customers.

So, please be specific in your statement above.

Also, I wouldn't pay to be a member of any forums, which is why I am also not a member at Experts-Exchange.com

good music player with good Equalizer?
Does anybody know of a good music player that has a good Equalizer? IMO, the equalizer sucks for WMP 11, realplayer free, and my sound card. I like the PowerAMP app for my android, the equalizer has a sick bass. but it's not available on pc.
