If I remember correctly, IE8 was going to have in-private browsing as the default setting for IE. However, marketers complained a whole lot and made sure that didn't go down (Microsoft need their advertisers support.)

This addition won't make me change to IE, esp. since I don't trust active-x type web-browsers (IE, etc) anymore and never well again. Maybe if IE removes active-x and switches to an addon system like Mozilla browsers have... then I'd use it

1) All you need to do is turn off Active-X and ther are no more problems. Just like turning off Java. Very few sites use it and those that do you can't work with other browsers anyway.

2) IE has had plugins for YEARS. In fact it was an IE plugin that started the entire tab revolution. However in any browser, FF especially, plugins are by far your biggest security threat as they are generally "engineered" by people and in locations that have much poorer security consciousness and code review processes than the actual browser itself.

Sorry, but i don't think this is going to make me switch to IE just like that, I've used every major browser like IE8, an IE9 beta, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, and out of all of them I like Chrome the most now, i don't know why it just FEELS better than all the rest.

Before you think anything odd i just keep the other browsers around for when my family members want to use my computer because we all have different tastes, that and I used them to check websites I coded when i was in a website design class.

ie has addons that blow compared to the user submitted addons for firefox, ie does not have nor will they ever have the fantastic collection of addons that firefox has, I've looked at ie addons several times and although they are better now, for me personally as a user, compared to the selection I can get at firefox there is absolutely no comparison between the quality of the addons between the 2 browsers

That 's because the majority of such users immediately labeled IE as crap and never even bothered to try it out, let alone develop an extension.

good music player with good Equalizer?
Does anybody know of a good music player that has a good Equalizer? IMO, the equalizer sucks for WMP 11, realplayer free, and my sound card. I like the PowerAMP app for my android, the equalizer has a sick bass. but it's not available on pc.
