Nod Gornot you're correct that MOST don't and won't give it a try, some have had bad experiences and others really couldn't tell you anything except for the things they've read or heard, for myself, I've had beta 9 since I could first get it, I also remember disliking the platform until quite a few updates later lol. The beta that's out now is fast and seems to be pretty stable with quite a few nice features but I've used firefox for so long now that even though I can clearly see that ie has made great strides I still prefer firefox because bottom line is that after some configuring and other things it still beats ie hands down imho

yplim there's been a beta of ie 9 out for quite a while now and the current one seems to be a pretty decent browser

I have also used IE9b since it came out, and never looked back. I still test new releases of other browsers, but none of them are even close to the satisfaction I have when using IE. Before this beta, I used Chrome; and even before Chrome, there was Firefox. Opera never worked properly for me, and other browsers were just as bad. IE8 was awful too, but this is different.

I'm installing it now. I'm excited to see what's changed. I stopped using IE back when IE7 came out and moved to Firefox. When it became a fat cow, I switched to Chrome. I never liked Opera. Felt like a fat cow, too.

*chuckles*
If we're going into metaphors, to me, Opera was like a fat cow that couldn't even produce enough milk to quench my thirst lol

I hate that Chrome has all my addons on separate processes.

Prevents addons and pages/tabs from bringing the whole thing down. Pretty smart, actually.

Not to mention annoying when trying to find a process in Task Manager. Firefox has two processes, and that's it. IE reloads the crashed tab automatically, and it uses so little RAM that it never gets in my way, unlike Chrome.

good music player with good Equalizer?
Does anybody know of a good music player that has a good Equalizer? IMO, the equalizer sucks for WMP 11, realplayer free, and my sound card. I like the PowerAMP app for my android, the equalizer has a sick bass. but it's not available on pc.
