Home Premium for me. Never saw the real use of having everything when you don't even use it.

When 7 becomes available the first thing to look at will be compasion chart between what each edition offers. That will be pretty much the same as seen presently for Vista. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...s/default.aspx

Lol, I'll get Ultimate because I like black! (kidding).

I've yet to decide what to get. Ultimate is running fine on my laptop (after several.. err 20 reinstalls, don't ask). I'll likely get Home Premium x64 unless Ultimate is below $100 (very unlikely) =P

Will probably get all of them through technet - I will have to support all versions so need them for evaluation / testing

With the available discount codes on offer around the net (and this very forum) the technet sub is probably less than the cost of 1 copy of ultimate so should be at least considered by anyone thinking of purchasing the Ultimate release

Windows 7 64-bit editions.
Is there anything that I should know about 64-bit versions of Windows 7? I'm experiencing alot of LAG while playing Left 4 Dead 1 & 2. They both worked fine on Vista 32-bit. Anything unique about 64-bit that I should know about?
