    I will be getting Home Premium when it comes out, but i would like to have Ultimate because I am running the RC right now.

    When 7 becomes available the first thing to look at will be compasion chart between what each edition offers. That will be pretty much the same as seen presently for Vista. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...s/default.aspx

    Lol, I'll get Ultimate because I like black! (kidding).

    I've yet to decide what to get. Ultimate is running fine on my laptop (after several.. err 20 reinstalls, don't ask). I'll likely get Home Premium x64 unless Ultimate is below $100 (very unlikely) =P

    With the available discount codes on offer around the net (and this very forum) the technet sub is probably less than the cost of 1 copy of ultimate so should be at least considered by anyone thinking of purchasing the Ultimate release
