Anybody who is looking for an OFFICIAL beta (I understand those words kinda contradict each other), but shouldn't install the version found on Windows 7 as that version is outdated. The most up-to-date version (although still in beta, they refresh the builds about 3-4 times a week) is found here:

    http://dnl-12.geo.kaspersky.com/devb...0.0.1055en.exe

The same key works, however :)

But personally, I find those builds too buggy - and I prefer just using KIS 2009!
Even that build is older than what i have. The latest workstation build is 1071, which was removed from the kaspersky sites. I managed to get it through a torrent on TPB. :)

If you want it, you can get it here, only 10 people can download it, get it while it lasts, or get it from TPB

Just want to warn you guys, the beta stored files, logs on the computer, I mean really big logs. And the only reason I found out about this was when I defraged the HD. The files where about 500mb-2 gb and it was a total amount of 50 gb. Even when I uninstalled the beta, the files where still there. And it was in the hidden folder c:\ProgramData\ and Kaspersky something. So be warned..

Like PatrickC I googled Kaspersky for Windows 7 as soon as I had installed 7057.
I got version 8.0.0.1015 and it seems to be working well.
It's been over a week and no issues with it what ever so far.
I'm also running Malwarebytes free and SUPERAntiSpyware free and they are turning up nothing.
I use K.I.S. 2009 on my Vista 64x install and the interface looks the same.
    It works well there to.
Clever move by Kaspersky to get ahead of the game I reckon.

    Best wishes, John

It asks for beta keys. Where can i get one?

    ----
In one of the screens, you select one of several choices, so If you click on the beta choice it will automatically enter your key during the installation. I also clicked on the first choice and it asked me for the key. so I backed up and entered the second choice, Beta, and it installed.

I have had nothing but trouble with Kaspersky in the past, I'm using AVG now on 7 but will try out this new version.
I would extremely advise against using AVG from a professional veiwpoint. AVG is so exploitable that it can be transformed into the virus. I have seen it about 4 times in the past few months. And there is NO way of removing of fixing it. I have had the best results with NOD32 and Kaspersky...although Kaspersky does have issues with some people setups unfortunately...Solid AV, weak stability. I just wish everyone would stop supporting AVG because even though it makes me money for fixing its F-Ups, I am sick and tired of fixing the infections CAUSED by AVG. A company that deliberately allows and disallows viruses (depending on what it does) for its own financial benefit should be a criminal offense...after all a virus is a form of online terrorism...so basically they support one of those organizations. Maybe you all think that is crazy talk, but think about it!

About the beta for this, it caused some issues on build 7229, and it wouldn't uninstall right either. I ended up editing the Services and preventing Kaspersky from auto loading on startup, then the uninstall is successful. They should resolve that by next build.

Tried the beta. First full system scan was fine. Any scans after that, be they scheduled or not, caused the scan to stop and locked up the system. Eventually Kaspersky recovered, but the scans were never completed and if they were scheduled to go while I was on the system, there was nothing I could do but hard boot the system or wait, to get it back to less than 100% CPU usage.

Bought ESET Smart Security 4...working great...
