How easy will it be to integrate Service Pack 1 into the original disk? I think I used vlite when I used vista which made the process a lot easier.

vlite was a hack and unsupported way of doing it.
Can use this guide and skip all the automated unattended stuff by skipping to step #9 Sysprep a Windows 7 Machine (and skip step #12)
So will Sp1 (on a fresh install) intergrate the first 80 or so windows 7 updates into the installer? Or will we have do download all the updates again and then Sp1...?
Agreed. If it's not going to be anything amazing anyway why bother taking chances? I'm gonna sit and wait for it.:)
service packs are only the updates and bug fixes etc windows have given us during the real-time the op system has been active so i cant see it being anything out of the ordinary, if it aint broke dont try and fix it![]()
I know I'm getting WAY ahead of myself here, but I seem to remember issues with V-Lite versions of Vista with SP1 integrated in not being able to update to SP2..... Vista SP2 is out - Page 13 - Vista Forums
Point? V-lite caused problems with updates.
I'm sure most of us will probably have reinstalled our OS like a thousand times before SP2 comes out but.... Just something to think about![]()
