No, I don't think that it is a matter of one program being designed to use so many cores, but it would mean that a person could run many more programs at one time, and possibly assigning which cores that each used. If there were cores left unused, so much the better...easier to cool.

Just about all consumers will not need this, much less 6 and 8 core processors once the cloud takes hold, much less this monster. Definitely for corporations with deep pockets.

Does this mean better performance playing Mafia Wars on Facebook?
