    You should be good for a few years. DDR4 will require new motherboards and new CPU's since the interface will be different.

    Yeah, I'm still rolling DDR2. Works for me, and I don't have to upgrade my motherboard.

    Just ordered new premium MSI mobo and 4gb x 2 of Corsair DDR3 ram. Later to pop the other 8gb in if needed. Can't wait as it will be here Tuesday.

    did'nt ddr3 just come out? havent found ddr3 chips in any of the stores in the chicago area yet and now they are already talking about ddr4? OY!!!
