    Windows Update?

It updates itself. Mine didn't update through Windows Update.

If you go into Windows Update and click on 'view update history' you will see it there.
    But yes, you're right.

    Ah, gotcha.

Well, this thing already stopped a trojan from coming in when I was surfing where I hadn't surfed before and when I did a Full Scan last night it found a trojan that AVG let in. I also had an .exe file that caused a false positive in AVG and MSE simply scanned it and said it was fine (which it is).

Pretty happy with this so far. Nice Job Microsoft.

does anyone notice that virus definition updates are a little too big for an anti-virus?

It still in testing, and they don't have definitions for everything just yet. I'm sure it's big only because there's many definitions to cover.

Well, suddenly my MSE doesn't update itself no more (it always fails to get update now....???) Windows Updates show no updates... Maybe the MS beta is a different build. and the 1 from torrent is the old build???? And MS has stop updating the old build???

Working here. I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft ends up releasing a newer build, but I can't say if they will
