Apparently MS was hoping to release the IE9 final and SP1 final at the same time (early March), but who knows now that it has been leaked. Could be pushed up a little. Last I heard IE9 final was rumored to be moved up to February now, so maybe that's when MS will release SP1

One of the MS MVP's on the Technet Forums said that SP1 was being distributed to some IT people today, so I think MS will probably be forced to bring the public release forward.
It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

Thanks, Ex_Brit.
Your versions are the same as mine. As far as your System restore, I dunno. Mine was unaffected as far as reserved space:

However, I do only have one restore point after the SP1 RTM(?) installation whereas I used to have 8 or more restore points:

I'm just wondering if SP1 did something to it. I've adjusted it now, but I'm just hoping there's no problems with SP1.

As I mentioned, I dunno. It didn't affect my system restore settings other than presenting itself as the only system restore point now available.

Perhaps, if I performed a restore prior to the installation of SP1 RTM(?), the old restore points might be restored?

I'm not going to attempt that as I'm quite happy with the RTM(?) at the moment. My earlier reservations about start up times were unfounded as, now, my start up times are faster than previously. Probably a Super Fetch adjustment, I think.

Mike, I am seeing the same with the restore point (I have two, but the SP is the older). I'm sure it was meant to function this way

Hi, ie9.

What is your other restore point? As I mentioned, I now have only one.

That seems about right Mike.

P.S. Love how you put the question mark after each time you say RTM
You'll be able to remove that tag in a bit
