Do you guys think that MSDN/TechNet will release Windows 7 SP1 (slipstreamed) ISO's?? because i don't like the idea of doing it myself with a 3rd party application..
    In due time, yes.

P.S. There are currently some ISO's out there
Meh, i'd rather wait for the official ISO's from MSDN/Technet hehe, i was asking because i was going to do a clean install probably in a couple of weeks and... it'd be a lot easier if i use a Windows 7 SP1 ISO instead of downloading the SP1 as an update... but i guess i'll wait until those MSDN/Technet ISO's are available

Honestly, I wouldn't hold your breath. It could be a while, but you're right, official is the way to go

And this means that it wasn't working properly before and this corrected some significant issue?

No problems with the SP1 RTM on the desktop, but it deleted my wireless network I had setup on the laptop and had to add it back afterwards.

I was referring to Beta where I had some error messages. That was weird. =\

    Sorry for not being clear.

I'm stoked! (that's all I have to say. It's not like SP1 is fixing some crazy ass issues)

Also looks like SP1 for x86ers via Windows Update is estimated at 23mb and the x64 version is estimated at 45mb. Not bad.
