Sorry, you also removed the link to the slipstream tutorial. Can I post that as someone earlier was asking for one?

    Sorry I didn't notice that

Yeah it would be fine to repost the slipstream tutorial link.

Someone earlier was asking about slipstreaming SP1 into the system disk. There's a tutorial here: How To Integrate or Slipstrem Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Into Installation DVD ISO

I have not tried it yet so cannot vouch for it.

As it's early days for Windows 7 SP1 yet I am sure there will be more, even one in our tutorials perhaps?

Do you guys think that MSDN/TechNet is going to release Windows 7 SP1 (slipstreamed) ISO's?? because i don't like the idea of doing it myself with a 3rd party application..
Yes they will but from experience it will be quite a while before they appear there.

I notice that the actual Service Pack hasn't even been posted yet.

Yes it is posted as I just got it this morning and installed. Works great.
I downloaded the .iso of 1.8gigs.

I really don't understand all this hoopla about slipstreaming sp1 into the original
disk. In a corporate environment, I just carry two disks and the documentation.
Works for me. A lot less aggrivation.

    YMMV

You got it from their evaluation section? Sorry I forgot about that. It isn't in general downloads yet unless I am totally blind.

That evaluation center version is RC so not too sure if it's the final version or the one before. It isn't very clear.
