I will wait for the official release ... why are some of you jumping on the 'band wagon'?
Is it for the thrill of downloading something new (leaked, no less) or is it because you truly have problems with your Windows7 OS?

    I don't get it
    Dear Jacee,
You're probably right! I strongly feel the "leak" is the work of some "FSB" ( Fereral'naya Sluzhba Bezopasnasti Rossiyskoy Federatsii) agents. As you know, FSB (not the Front End Bus) is the monster created following the Cheka,NKVD and KGB and they are no friends of the US of A (info' courtesy wiki) and they are not as subtle as the Dragon Empire in their methods! I,for one will sit it out and swallow the Adrenaline surge as and when it gushes up!

    And your 'maybe' constitutes what?
That yes, I like downloading this stuff for the thrill of having something new. I've had that thrill since the first leaks of Windows 7 hit the web, and it hasn't gone away
Sometimes they call them beta testers

I download the integrated SP1 ISO, I've had it installed for a while but over the last couple of days having read some discussions from people I trust & respect over whether this will be the one M$ releases as final, I've now just gone back to a nice clean RTM install, plus just got a new laptop the other day so I've now gone to using W7 64-bit as well

I can personally say I've had no issues with the SP1 update, but I'll now be waiting for it to arrive via WU, there's no real rush for me, 7 works great as is :)

    Hi, G1LLY! :)

I'm not too worried about uninstalling the leaked RTM if it happens to be different than what MS puts out in March. I had no problems at all uninstalling the RC or the Beta of SP1 so I don't see this as being an issue.

From all I've read, so far, the leak is the RTM.

Congrats on your updated x64 install!

Good to hear :) , I had the .exe version installed first but then jumped at the chance of getting the integrated SP1 ISO & installed that version which I don't think can be uninstalled (not 100% sure), anyway as I said before 7 works perfect for me in its current state so will patiently wait until Microsoft releases it either via MDSN/Technet or just wait until the WU version arrives later on, by the sound of it, it won't be too long to wait any way.

    Gilly

Yeah, the only way to get rid of the integrated ISO is to completely wipe your HD clean
