Very good - but not true! Not even half of those reports has anything to do with bugs, it is all notes with praise!

    Hi Les,

I'm sorry but you're both wrong...

It's all the requests to become a Beta tester, printed from the Connect site

That is probably the truth.... so many people so little time. They will all be beta testers sooner rather than later!

    All I want is x64

Anyone reading a TEchnet subscription holder?
I am puzzled by this comment "Furthermore, in December 2008, Microsoft offered Windows 7 Beta via MSDN and TechNet to subscribers."
I am a Technet+ subscriber and MSDN, but I have not seen anything relating to Windows 7. I have just had another peep at the downloads and still nix. Is there an "inner sanctuary" there, to which I do not have access. Every other MS product is on the list for downloads? Do we all see the same list or are there several?

hey, just a question for you x64 users...what software do you use to mount an iso? I can't seem to find a 64 bit Alcohol 120%, etc. I uninstalled my 64 bit 6801 and went with 32 bit for this reason (well, that and I didn't have a 64 bit Photoshop and Illustrator)...

Windows 7 will do it for you - no need for a third party program. Just double click an ISO
Otherwise, as a third party choice, I use Magiciso - very painless!

I think we all get different - With Vista SP2 I grabbed from technet via my US IP hours before it showed up in the UK technet download section.

Just as a test I changed the location in the techet url from en-gb to zh-tw with the following result.

DDR2 or DDR3? Why not go for the 12GB DDR3 the Asus Rampage II can take it!

(that's not my spec by the way, it's z3r010's the Rig King in the post above)
