    Windows 7 Official Beta

    Posted: 06 Jan 2009
The official beta has just surfaced in Microsoft's Taiwan's technet site, but does not seem to be active just yet. Is this a sign of things to come over the next few days?

I definitely agree with you, it just seems to be more 'real'.

So when the official beta comes out, will the people with the leaked Build 7000 have to uninstall Windows Seven and then reinstall it in order to get the changes that MS may have made such as the Mp3 problem?

Or like will we get an automatic update once we put in the product key that will have these changes?

Sorry if my wording is awkward but I can't think of how to clearly articulate what I am trying to ask.

The best would be to download from official channels, i.e. MS and do a clean install.
