New screenshots of Microsoft’s upcoming Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate (RC) build leaked to the Internet today.

Russian site Winreview.ru has posted a number of screenshots from build 9.00.8073.6010 (WIN7_IE9_Partner.110113-2300). WinRumors understands this build is one of Microsoft’s escrow near final builds of Internet Explorer 9 RC. Microsoft’s release candidate of Internet Explorer 9 will include a number of new enhancements from the previous public beta build.

If the leaked build is any indication, we should, in fact, be blown away...

But I also saw some of these screenshots yesterday, on another website, they don't all match. I seriously hope this isn't the look of RC. The tabs look awful!

Marrcus - your post never included a leaked screen image, which this does. This post also discusses the source of the leak, which yours doesn't.

This post and yours are two different things - the only thing in common is the release number.

Heh, interesting, posted by a Russian site, I don't know why I'm not surprised.

Anyway, I like Internet Explorer 9, but there are still bugs that are keeping me at bay. When the final version is launched I'll acquire it ASAP, I really enjoy the browsers speed.

If these images are anything to go by, then I am somewhat disappointed that they could not address that useless space above the tabs and the search box. I really wish they did something about that. Very unlikely now!

That space isn't useless, it's used for dragging the window wherever you'd like it.

It also comes in handy when using Aero Snap, not to mention if you're using the touch feature of Windows 7
