I bought a board from Newegg on 1-18-11.
So far they've pulled all Sandy Bridge processors and 1156 motherboards from the site, as of my typing this.
They've even disengaged the RMA check box on the P67 board I bought.

I hope my board is OK. I'll be checking with Gigabyte, soon.

They better be offering to replace all the boards they shipped with this defect.

Long as they get them out quick enough, I have no worries.

I'm not seeing this as real big deal... I'm running my SSD's on the 6Gb/s SATA ports and my DVD's on the 3Gb. The box is stable and screams so if it takes a few months to get an exchange board from Asus that's OK. If not I'll just wait for the Z68 chipset, upgrade and move on...

    Agreed.

Or wait for the EVGA ones (they won't have these issues [confirmed by their product manager]).

EVGA would be smart to release their P67 boards before recalling begins.

    Just Sayin'...

It won't happen overnight. Personally, I wouldn't want to have bought one of these boards and then find out it's life is severely shortened due to faulty circuitry.

That appears to be when the new revision will be ready. The new parts won't be shipped until April if that's true. It appears all current boards will be replaced.

Well EVGA won't be able to release any "fixed" ones until the same time everyone else can.
