They were letting only the first 75,000 to signup, download it ... I don't know how I was able to get in that group

I could say, but don't want to get in trouble elsewhere.

I guess I got it just in time within the limit, because it stopped allowing downloads a few hours after I downloaded it, sometime yesterday (the 24th).

I think i was the last one to download it. Because just after 5 minutes of downloading the setup file, i tried to download it again and they said that they have stopped it.

Took a surprisingly long time to reach the pretty small limit. I was more than 12 hours "late" (just forgot about it - the definition of a good AV program!) and didn't even know there was a limit - but still seemed to be available for more than 24 hours after that.

Guess this is all a big deal for us but hardly anyone else cares!

As to the set-up exe, I wonder whether it is shareable after all that gerfuffle signing up to get it?

Anyone know? - coz if it works I'd be happy to share it to you guys.

One way to find out, I'd imagine it would work seeing as you don't need to sign into any account during the 'setup process'.

I should probably get another copy (since I deleted mine) just incase.
